As a parent, of any age, you want your the best for your child. At birth, the first thing you do is to count their fingers and their toes and the first time they get sick you feel bad with them. Through their first falls, bruises, cuts and scrapes, you are right there with them dusting them off, encouraging them to try again. Yet, what happens when your child is diagnosed with a life threatening illness? What would you do?
Helen Steiner Rice – “A mother’s love is patient and forgiving when all others are forsaking, it never fails or falters, even though the heart is breaking.”
My guest this week on “Pathways to Authenticity” Blog Talk Radio is Dezharae Jerrold Robinson. A young mother who demonstrates extreme courage and strength as she copes with the everyday challenges with a child diagnosed with Type I Diabetes.
Her story is inspiring and will leave you hugging your precious children, no matter what age, a little longer and tighter! Join me on Tuesday, January 21st @ 8:00 pm PT.
